I ordered the XS size escape-proof harness for my 9 week old whippet puppy and it fits comfortably with the straps on the shortest setting, so there’s plenty of room for him to grow. Until he is fully vaccinated, we’ve been practising lead walking in the back garden. The harness is a great help – it feels secure and my puppy doesn’t get overly excited by the lead because it isn’t near his mouth. I’ll definitely buy the next size up when he outgrows this one.

the harness seemed sturdy but when out walking my dog saw someone he knows and pulled quite hard and all the stitching on the strap behind the metal loop has ripped. would not buy again as it obviously isn’t strong enough. if you have an excitable dog who may pull hard from time to time do not buy.

Front D-ring has helped with her walking—no pulling. For an Iggy, the D-ring could be placed a bit higher so leash doesn’t catch on her front leg (Iggy’s are high steppers)
