Designed with a snug fit, this coat offers full chest coverage with an additional adjustable chest piece that secures around the waist, providing extra warmth to the area sighthounds feel the cold most.

Superb quality coat. This is my 3rd coat purchase from The Trendy Whippet, in a different style this time.The coat fits my whippet so well. I love how easily it is to put on with the part that goes between the front legs, nicely covers the chest and fastens across the back. It’s nice and long too and covers his back thighs nicely although it can flap up a bit in a gusty wind. The fleecy lining is not bulky but feels very warm and the exterior material keeps my whippet dry as a bone. The longer neck with the warm lining and elastic toggle is essential for any whippet. I would think I could slip another thin jumper layer on during very cold weather without adding too much bulk overall. One bit of feedback is that the slit for the collar isn’t quite wide enough for the ring on my Martingale collar so I can’t use it properly.

I bought two of these for my whippet and lurcher. They are very good qualoty coats. They keep them both warm and bone dry even in heavy rain. I’ve had one for a year and it is so durable, even withstanding the other dog’s mouthing around the collar when they are chasing each other. Really impressed, hence why i bought one for the other dog!

Absolutely beautiful! So nicely wrapped too. The coat is of a lovely quality. It’s feels soft and comfortable, looks super stylish, but also warm and practical. Very useful having the harness hole, also there is a hold for the collar to be connected to the lead to depending on which you use. The tummy wrap is a great additional!

The coat is a lovely fit and keeps our dog dry and warm. The only negative point is that on a windy day the back end blows up very easily and becomes ineffective. In addition as my dog trots along the coat seems to slip to one side, this has been corrected to a degree by making it a lot tighter around the middle. Other than that we are happy with the product.

Honestly I would trust no-one else to clothe my whippet! Warm and waterproof but not so hot that he can’t run around freely. Good for layering in the freezing temperatures too – an all around weather win. They are just the best quality and it really shows! Love the vibrant colour and fleece lining – the harness hole is a must for us so great that this one has it! More options for some of the other coats to have harness holes would be great (although not for my bank as I would buy them all!) but overall this product is just the absolute best and will definitely buy again!
